What happened to all those nice vintage watches? Most have either stopped working or they do not keep the correct time anymore. It’s a shame to throw away a good watch when all it needs is some TLC! I collect vintage watches, service them, and make them like new again!
Each watch that I service gets pulled apart piece by piece and throughly cleaned. I then make sure each part is in working order. Many of the watches need parts that I replace.
After I am done, some of the watches are dressed in my own design bands. The watch bands that I make are up-cycled from fabric and are hand sewn.

This is my new everyday watch band. Arrived quickly and good customer service. It’s so comfortable I forget I’m wearing a watch. I customized mine a little and waxed it, added a hole (I usually have to add two or three holes to my watch bands), and changed the bar to quick release. The quality is much better than mass produced bands.
